Debbi Walker, the proud founder, principal teacher and director of Suara Sound Academy and Suara Sound Retreat in Cornwall, UK, which has delivered high quality professional certificated and insurable international and national Sound Healing Courses for the past 15 years for people and animals.

Suara Sound Academy was born in 2011 and goes from strength to strength (Suara means 'Sound Healing' in the Indonesian language) and Debbi teaches Tuning Fork Sound Therapy courses, retreats and workshops from her Retreat Home near Callington in East Cornwall sharing with students nationally and internationally. She has now shared Tuning Fork Sound Therapy with literally thousands of people at her retreat centre, fayres, festivals and workshops

Debbi has worked in Health and Healing for 33 years, and for 12 years she was a nurse in the National Health Service, including District Nursing in the Community. She has a first-class honours degree in Tissue Viability and Wound Healing and has experience in Elderly Care and Dementia visiting Residential Care Home frequently is her District Nursing role. She is experienced in Palliative Care and End of Life having worked in a hospice and care in the community, looking after patients and their families with a kind, compassionate, caring nature.

Debbi no longer works in this field, as in 2009 she became very poorly with ME/CFS and her NHS contract was terminated on ill health grounds . Feeling alone and lost, bereft of her beloved nursing, she had never felt so much the "Dark night of my Soul". She was at breaking point, when she discovered vibrational energy healing in the form of Emotional Freedom Technique, Transformational healing and then her beloved Sound Healing Therapy. 

She used this holistic approach to nourish her mind, body, spirit and Soul. Now she has no ME/CFS symptoms,living a life of freedom enjoying the knowledge she has her own health and well-being energy in her own hands and insights,following the guidance of herself with the Sounds.  Over the years Debbi has witnessed literal miracles and life changing situations for people to live with purpose, following the true path in life.  

Debbi has a thirst for knowledge and enjoys all aspects of learning, and is soon to be part of a global event putting Sound Healing on the map once and for all. Over the past years Debbi has made it her life mission to bring sound to the forefront working with health professional and western medicine and still pioneering Sound Healing with Tuning Forks for Health and Well Being; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.   She has researched diligently, done her own research studies, collaborated with Doctors and worked with in many areas of healthcare.  Her science background of nursing has paved the way to do extensive research on just HOW these amazing sounds can raise internal frequency, assisting the body to do what it does by homeostasis..

Debbi has a published study in the European Journal of Psychiatry of how sound assists for many health benefit which she collaborated with a team of doctors in Leicestershire, UK.  The results were profound, and continue to be so.

In 2019 Debbi was invited to the Earthfire Institute in Idaho, USA and worked with wolves, bears, bison, cougar, foxes, coyotes, and all the other rescued wild animals there. Her role was to teach the staff how to use the Tuning Forks on the animals.This was done successfully.

It is very clear how easy it is for anyone, any age and with any health condition to use the tuning forks with themselves and their animals. A book Debbi have written called "How to Fork Yourself" adds to this self- empowerment, so people can really take their own health into their own hands. It works by listening, then clearing, cleansing and balancing the auric field and energy centres. A sense of peace, harmony and love is felt. People with cancer, ME, MS, dementia, Parkinson's, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and many other health conditions are enjoying a better quality of life. Animals are having a better quality of life by the guardians using the sounds with them too.

🌹Cameron Raphael is a practitioner whose life has been shaped by discipline, service, and a deep attunement to the unseen currents of energy. Beginning his adult life in the British Army, Cameron learned the value of precision, resilience, and presence under pressure qualities that would become the foundation for every path that presented itself to him

After leaving military service, Cameron’s journey carried them through a diverse range of roles, each offering its own lessons in adaptability, leadership, and human connection. From hands‑on trades to roles in service and facilitation, these experiences broadened his understanding of people and the many ways we navigate the world.  

Alongside this outward path, an inner thread was always present. Energy work, ritual practice, and the study of esoteric traditions have been part of Cameron’s life for  the last 2 decades, informing both personal growth and professional offerings.  

In November 2024, this inner calling found a new resonance through the Suara Sound Academy, founded by Debbi Walker. In the space of a fortnight, Cameron’s soul long attuned to the subtle  was stirred into life again in earnest. The discovery of sound as a way of healing  became both a homecoming and a new beginning, deepening his commitment to creating spaces where transformation can take root.  

Today, Cameron brings together the grounded discipline of his early years with the intuitive depth of  spiritual practice, offering work that is both anchored and expansive.

Kirsty Loxton is an Intuitive Sound and Energy Healing Practitioner based in Launceston, Cornwall. She is known for creating safe, transformative spaces that combine therapeutic depth with spiritual wisdom.

Her healing path began in 2002 with Reiki, initiating a lifelong journey of personal transformation and spiritual exploration. Since then, she has undertaken extensive professional training across therapeutic, cognitive, and esoteric practices, building a well-rounded foundation that informs her work today. Her approach is underpinned by clarity, compassion, and a grounded presence that supports people to feel safe, seen, and empowered in their healing process.

From 2004, Kirsty served nearly 14 years in HM Prison Service, working in both disciplined and therapeutic roles, each requiring a high level of duty of care. She facilitated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) offending behaviour programmes and gained extensive experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours. She also facilitated groups within the flagship therapeutic establishment of HM Prison Service. This experience honed her skills in resilience, communication, and facilitation — qualities that now underpin her healing practice and her passion for supporting frontline and duty-of-care professionals.

In 2018, she trained with the British Academy of Sound Therapy, qualifying with distinction in 2020, and went on to establish The Resonant Phoenix Sound Therapy in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. During this time, she also volunteered with an independent cancer charity, where she provided direct sound therapy sessions and contributed to the coordination of complementary therapies, demonstrating her collaborative and service-driven approach.

Her training expanded in 2023 with Debbi Walker of Suara Sound Academy, where she immersed herself in the sacred and therapeutic application of tuning forks. She is qualified in the Tuning Fork Practitioner Course and the Singing Bowls, Sound Bath and Percussion Sound Therapy Course. She has further trained in the Advanced Tuning Fork Practitioner level and in the Animal Healing with Tuning Forks module.  Her attendance at the Atlantis Rising: Egyptian Memories Remembered retreat further enriched her connection to sound and ancient wisdom.

Following her initiation into the forks, Kirsty manifested her move to Cornwall to follow her passion and meet her dharma; deepening her path in sacred sound.

Kirsty also draws on three years of counselling training and seven years of personal therapeutic process, equipping her with strong skills in self-awareness, reflective practice, and client support. Her background bridges therapeutic, cognitive, and spiritual approaches, allowing her to meet clients with both professional rigour and intuitive sensitivity.
